THE PATH OF THE CROSS
(Part 2 - The hidden wisdom in Silence)
HEB 12:2 "looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God". NKJV
Every sound you hear on the face of the earth has a limit to which it can travel but there is one traveler that no man can detect how far it travels and that is SILENCE.
* Silence travels
There can be occasions of human interference with his journey but that not when God speaks.
* Silence is a tool and its very essential in the making of God choice vessels.
In the Leviticus order of priestliness which is a close resemblance of the new creation priestliness, the priest ( in making ) must observe a Seven days of Silence before the lord, Leviticus 8:33-36. Understand that the Silence in Aaron's day completes his consecration and proceeds the Glory of God, Leviticus 9:1,6.
There seems to be great awaken associated with silence, the three Hebrew boys refused to answer the king and what followed was a great awaken in the nation to the Glory of God.
* God predestined, He destined, He calls, He justifies and He alone glorifies.
* You voice was never to be in the picture, keep quiet sir/ma
The cross humiliation has everything in it tied to silence, Jesus will have won every case against him then what next? Jesus knew winning at this phase is not a sign of success but the very limitation to that which is more glorious and restful. Jesus humiliation at the time of presentation when he will stand before men and men will mock and humiliate him will be the best oppuntunity to prove to the nobles of his Sonship to God but He quickly resolved to silence allowing the Fathers perfect intentions to be completed in Him " Who for the seek of the joy set before Him endured the cross and its humiliation" (paraphrased), the journey on this path is lonely
* You are not the first to might have felt abandon, do not waste abandoned opportunity, enjoy it in shame and you will reap in Glory
For the creator to be spat on and still kept silence is an indication of how important silence will reveal him in our life.
* Your silence is what God need to show Himself mighty in you,
enjoy the humiliation and don't not explain your way out of Glory
* Your silence is the very heart of your making, though men will abandon you, speak ill of you, don't let you gaze off Jesus( with an open face keep beholding and you transformation will be complete)
* Your silence in this path is the wisdom of God in disguise
They told Jesus, come down and save your self, Jesus said to them in silence: No I don't intend to save myself I want to save the world.
* God becomes your voice in your silence
the voice of the Lord is what the God wants people to hear not your voice.
Right now if only you can turn to Jesus and Give up all that your voice is keeping together( this is very point your struggle began)
* What you need to win in your marriage, family, career and ministry is silence: You have continued in stress and difficulties because you are explaining too much
* What you need to win in your marriage, family, career and ministry is silence: You have continued in stress and difficulties because you are explaining too much
BITTER ON THE OUTSIDE, SWEET INSIDE
2 COR 4:16-18
16. For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
17. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
18. While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
* This 2 Cor 4:16-18 describe the silence in summary and present you a hope at the end
